AW Community Guidelines

Anointed Works® serves as a secure environment for our members, employees and affiliates. The regulations delineate the conduct expected on our blog and forum, embodying the policies that govern the website. Within this platform, individuals are encouraged to share their perspectives, emotions and self-expression. The Community Guidelines have been created to enable all community members to engage in discussions openly while upholding a standard of respect and courtesy. Our Community Guidelines were made to ensure everyone who is a member our community can participate in public conversation, but they must do so respectfully. If you need clarity or are curious about the following:

  1. What's allowed in profiles.

  2. What's allowed on our website.

  3. What's not allowed on our website.

  4. What happens if a member breaks a rule?

You're right where you need to be. We don't want to bore you with a lot of rules, but due to the online cyber bullying, criminal activity, doxing, hate crimes, etc. we have created our Community Guidelines, rooted in Christian ethics and morals. AW Community Guidelines apply to our administration, visitors, members, vendors, partners, teams, volunteers and anyone affiliated with our company directly or professionally.

Consequences

Elohim, whom we serve and represent, are merciful, kind and fair when casting judgements--so are we. Everyone at Anointed Works and the moderation we enforce is steeped in fairness and consistency. Should your content violate any guidelines, we want to provide a clear explanation for any content we remove. In the event that your account is in danger of being terminated, you will receive a notice (7) days in advance that will inform you of the status of your account and what actions you must take to revoke the termination process. Our notices will always state what rule or rules you have broken and let you know you have (3) more times to slip up before your account will be terminated. If you do not correct your bad behavior after a account termination, your account will be light banned. Keep it up and you'll be banned for life.

Termination Accounts & Banned Accounts

There is a huge difference between a terminated account and a light banned account. A light banned account or a account that has been banned forever, cannot be recovered unless the CEO Board revokes it, where as a terminated account can be restored and returned to you by the Appeals Committee. Additionally, if your content is rendered ineligible for a post and we are have to remove your content more than usual, you will be sent a notice, informing you to stop posting ineligible content before a termination phase commences. If you dare to come back under a new account name with a new email, your account will be flagged and should you break a rule again or series a rules again, your account will be light banned. Just like before, you will be sent a notice, stating your account has exited the termination stage and entered the light banned stage, which allows you to prepare for the worst and take the right steps to prevent a long-term punishment.

See what we did there? We will refuse to resort to using shadow bans. To those who don't know, shadow bans are a cruel method that mega companies and app companies do to people unexpectedly and rarely have a justified reason to disable/terminate/delete a account, but will often say a user has violated their Community Guidelines, when in reality, the shadow ban is done by bots or employees who are bias and want to take down people who don't agree with their views on something. We will never do that to you. We will openly explain in the notice we email you why you’re being light banned and the steps you will have to take to reverse the light ban before you risk haing your account banned for life.

Is Light Bans or Ban For Life Reversable?

Typically, if you have a solid case and are sincerely honest with us, your account termination will be reversed. However, if your offenses continue after account termination and your account has been restored to you, we reserve the right to light ban your account and this only takes place if account termination (and forgiveness and grace from the Appeals Committee) failed in redirecting our users back to good behavior. In our community, light bans operate in a unique way. If you are light banned, there are three stages that you go through before a Final Action is issued by the Appeals Committee. A Final Action means your account will be banned for life and only the CEO Board can decide overturn the Appeals Committee decision. So, how do you get to that point? This only happens when a light ban has applied the offenses stated below.

  • 1st Offense: User’s account on our website will be banned for 10 days. Any messages a user sends in our other communities will be muted. If user is subscribed to The Velvet Rope, their access will be denied until the ban ends. At the end of their ban, user must send a appeal letter to the Appeal Committee, stating they have completed the light ban so their account, achievements can be restored

  • 2nd Offense: User’s account on our website will be banned for 30 days. Any messages a user sends in our other communities will be muted. If user is subscribed to The Velvet Rope, their access will be denied until the ban ends. If user has a coupon for the eStore, their voucher will be revoked and they must pay the full price. All community earned badges on our website or The Forger’s Discord server will be removed for the duration of the light ban.

  • 3rd Offense: User’s account on our website will be banned for a 60 days. After the duration ends, user can no longer file appeals. User’s account will be banned for life= on our website, kicked from the Forger’s Guild, subscriptions canceled on all platforms where we offer it and a Final Action will be sent to their inbox outlining everything that the user needs to understand behind the decision to invoke a forever ban.

Your Rights

If you believe your account termination regarding content removal or its ineligibility for our website or media you uploaded to your user’s profile, blog comments, comments in The Velvet Rope (Wix Group), etc. was in error, you have the right to appeal the decision and file a formal complaint with the Appeals Committee. Once you submit your appeal to appeals@anointedworks.org, along with any reports, screenshots and any evidence you believe are relevant, the Appeals Committee will review your case and afterwards, will contact you within (7) business days. In the email will be instructions on what you must do to have your account restored, community achievements re-assigned, how to rejoin The Forger’s Discord (if you joined prior before the account termination), VIP subscription activated again (VIP subscription gives you access to The Velvet Rope) and your eStore coupons and discounts reinstated.

If you believe your light ban or life ban was in error prior to receiving a Final Action, you have the right to appeal the decision and file a formal complaint with the CEO Board--not the Appeals Committee. Final Action responses are not pleasant and we do not want anyone to receive these kinds of notices after a 3rd Offense under a light ban, but if you violate our Community Guidelines, become a community menace and have a history of repeated offenses extended grace periods when your account was terminated, as well exhausted the punishment durations of 1-3 Offenses, you will be banned for life and the only people who can reverse this, is the CEO Board of Anointed Works®.

Removed Content

Only members of our website who have registered accounts can share content, sign up for The Velvet Rope and Groups--all virtual spaces where members can share their content, but when we identify content that falls outside of “Fair Use” or violates any rule listed in our Community Guidelines, we will delete it.

Prohibited  Content

We want to be very transparent about this. Content, such as doxing, scam links, IP grabbers, criminal activity, illegal drug deal, sex trafficking, sexually explicit images, videos with links/backlinks to other websites that is not appropriate for minors or adults that fall under nudity, will be removed. There is zero tolerance for this. Nudity, defined, are half naked men and women, breast feeding women that exposes their breasts or nipples, men or women in underwear or swimsuits that do not cover their entire body, exposure of children (of any age) that is naked, suggestive poses of men, women or  children, porn (of any type) demonic imagery in the form of AI/cosplay/anime pictures/mainstream sitcoms, etc.  woman and will be removed.  Following the removal of these types of content, the member will be sent an email, asking him/her to stop and follow the rules. If that person refuses to comply, their account will be at risk of becoming: terminated, light banned, banned for life

No Ads & No Feeds

There are many social media platforms that have their own version of a Feed or a FYP. Both are designed to help you discover a variety of content and creators, and for creators to reach new audiences and build thriving communities. These same companies, use cookies to target you and monitor your activity to market targeted ads to sell to you (and annoy you). Here, we do not allow ads or have a Feed or FYP feed system in place to cater to your browsing activity. At no point will we monitor your activity on the website so we can recommend something. When we identify content that meets those qualifications in member bios, posts, etc., we will delete everything that suggests or promotes ads or cookie tracking.
